02 — Tour index
Departure counts reflect the current calendar. Every city keeps a fixed weekly pattern of guided walks, museum entries and free time, so two cities can be compared without reading two different formats.
04 — Sample day
This is the actual running order for the Lviv city walk, printed as the guide carries it. Group cap is 12.
Walking total for the day: 6.8 km. Other cities run to the same structure. See all day schedules or send an enquiry.
04 · What is included
The same rows appear on every tour page and beside the pricing table, so two departures can be compared without re-reading. Glyphs are set in ink, never in colour.
Museum and gallery entry sits outside the tour price. The guest pays at the door. Example: Museum of the History of Religion, 1.1 km, entry paid at the door. Full price ledger on the tours page.
06 — Guides
“I keep the first hour slow. Rynok Square is loud; the lanes behind it are where the day starts to make sense.”
Olena is a licensed city guide and has led walking days in Lviv since 2011. She builds each route around opening hours, then adjusts the order on the morning of the tour so a closed door never costs the group a museum visit.

07 — Practical FAQ
Entry, weather, walking pace and late changes. Everything below is stated the same way on every tour page, so you can compare without re-reading.
Museum and gallery entry sits outside the tour price. The guest pays at the door. Each stop lists the walking distance from the previous stop, for example Museum of the History of Religion, 1.1 km.
Every guided day carries a rain alternative and a named substitute stop for any site with unpredictable closures. The guide messages the group by 08:00 if the plan changes and waits at the meeting point until everyone is present. We do not promise weather, only a plan for it.
Most days run between 3 and 6 km across the whole schedule, split by a seated break of 45 minutes. Timetables show the distance beside each block. Old-town surfaces are cobbled, so flat shoes matter more than fitness. If a pace feels wrong, tell the guide at the first stop rather than at the last.
Twelve guests maximum, with one licensed guide named on the tour page. That cap is an operating fact, not an upgrade. It keeps museum rooms workable and lets the guide answer questions while walking rather than through an earpiece.
Date changes are free up to seven days before departure, subject to places remaining. After that the schedule on our cancellation and refund policy applies.
Only your travel to the first meeting point. Free-time blocks are deliberately unscheduled, so reserve restaurants or extra museum slots there if you want them. Send the enquiry form with your dates and we confirm places and guide names in writing.
08 — Enquiry route
Send the route you are considering and the dates you hold. We answer with the full day schedule, the separate price line for museum entries, and the rain alternative written for that walk.
